Christopher Antonio Eaton, son of Lucy Beatrice Eaton and the late George Thomas Eaton, Sr. was born in Vance County, North Carolina on June 6, 1964. He departed this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

At an early age he joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Henderson, North Carolina. He was educated in the Vance County School System. His known trade was mechanics and construction. He was always on call for family and friends when it came to repairs on any vehicle. He was very sociable and kept a smile on his face. When visiting from Chesapeake, Virginia, he always took time to see his love ones. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Eaton, Sr. and sister, Sular Faye Eaton Johnson.

Christopher leaves to treasure his precious memories: his mother, Lucy Bullock Eaton of Henderson, North Carolina; his only daughter, Christian Hargrove of Oxford, North Carolina; his two sons, Shawn Hargrove and Christopher Henderson both of Henderson, North Carolina; two sisters, Beatrice Eaton of Henderson, North Carolina and Carolyn Eaton of Bullock, North Carolina; three brothers, George T. Eaton, Jr., James T. Eaton and Frankie L. Eaton all of Henderson, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Larry Johnson of Chesapeake, Virginia; five grandchildren all of North Carolina; dear friends, Ernestine Johnson and Vince Nixon both of Chesapeake, Virginia and a special cousin Alfred Hunt of Henderson, North Carolina and a numerous of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Blacknall Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
