George T. Eaton, Jr. son of Lucy Beatrice Bullock Eaton and the late George T. Eaton, Sr. was born in Vance County, North Carolina on August 13, 1960. He departed this life on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his residence.

At an early age he joined Red Bud Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson, North Carolina. He served as an usher and worked on many committees in the church.

He was educated in the Vance County School System. He was employed with Hardees of Henderson, North Carolina for over twenty years until retirement in 2010. He loved working with people. He attended many workshops hosted by Baskerville Funeral Home, LLC which was sponsored by Cardinal Innovations Healthcare which provided health service information for the community.

He was preceded in death by his father, George T. Eaton, Sr.; one sister, Sular Faye Eaton Johnson and one brother, Christopher A. Eaton.

George leaves to treasure his precious memories his mother, Lucy Beatrice Bullock Eaton of Henderson, North Carolina; two sisters, Beatrice Eaton of Henderson, North Carolina and Carolyn Eaton of Bullock, North Carolina; two brothers, James T. Eaton and Frankie L. Eaton both of Henderson, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Larry Johnson of Chesapeake, Virginia; dear friends, Natalie Kearney and Vebelous Gregory both of Henderson, North Carolina; a special aunt, Evangelist Emma Hayes of Alexandria, Virginia; one special niece, Lindsey N. Eaton and her children of Henderson, North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Red Bud Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
