Gregory "Greg" Small was born August 13,1958 to the late Sandy Small and Dorothy Durham Small in Vance County, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 3, 2019 at Maria Parham Health Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

He was educated in Vance County Public Schools. Greg was employed with Universal Healthcare in Oxford, North Carolina until his health declined. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Baskerville Funeral Home at 104 S. Chestnut Street, Henderson, North Carolina.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel at 104 S. Chestnut Street, Henderson, North Carolina at 2:00 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sariah Cheatham and his niece, Keyshia S. Burwell.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Carl E. Small of Henderson, North Carolina; three sisters, Debbie Small of Henderson, North Carolina, Sandra E. Small of Greenville, North Carolina and Patricia S. Richardson (Jasper) of Louisburg, North Carolina; one aunt, Linda D. Terry (Michael) of Henderson, North Carolina; two uncles, Harold Durham of Henderson, North Carolina and William Durham of Camp Springs, Maryland; four nieces, Georgette Williams of Zebulon, North Carolina, Shanta Williams of Louisburg, North Carolina, Kierra Small of Newport News, Virginia and Ayzha Burwell of Henderson, North Carolina; two nephews, Brandon Small Carter of Henderson, North Carolina and Eric Burwell of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of relatives and friends.
