Lamichael Grant, age thirty-two, departed his life on Wednesday, July 27, 2021 at Duke Hospice In-Patient Facility, Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina. He fought a hard battle until the end.

Lamichael was born May 7, 1989 to loving parents Eunice P. Grant and the late Michael Bobbitt. He was reared by his grandparents, the late Reverend Isiah Perry, Sr. and Evelyn C. Perry. Lamichael grew up on High Street in Henderson, North Carolina and remained during his entire life.

Lamichael attended Vance County Public Schools. He was a very strong independent man that loved his family and friends. He loved spending time with his nieces listening to music and playing dominoes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael G. Bobbitt; grandfather, Reverend Isiah Perry, Sr. and grandmother, Evelyn C. Perry.

Lamichael is survived by his loving mother, Eunice Grant of Henderson, North Carolina; one sister, Shawnte Grant of Henderson, North Carolina; three nieces, Jabriaa Crudup, India Rainey and Zada Grant all of Henderson, North Carolina; three uncles, Isiah Perry, Jr. (Patricia) of Centerville, North Carolina, Isaac Perry of Henderson, North Carolina and Oz Bobbitt of Atlanta, Georgia; four aunts, Karen Fuller of Mebane, North Carolina, Ashley Perry, Kytanya Rice (Stanley) and Annette Bobbitt all of Henderson, North Carolina; a devoted loving girlfriend, Latasha Burwell and her daughter, Na'Kiyah Bullock; a host of loving cousins and other relatives; three best friends, Tory Small, Tyshikee Williams and Latrel Henderson all of Henderson, North Carolina.

Viewing will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Blacknall Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
