Lillie Mae Kelly Peace was born February 8, 1929 to the late Cornelius & Annie Belle Thorpe Kelly in Vance County, North Carolina. She entered eternal rest on December 29, 2020 at her home in Henderson, North Carolina.

She was educated in Vance County Schools.

Lillie Mae was a retired homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by three sons: James "Jimmy" Peace, Jackie Peace and Billy Peace.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories four sons: Horace A. Peace (Lillian) of Denville, New Jersey, Joe Peace (Cynthia), Robert Peace and Wilbert Peace (Gwen) all of Henderson, North Carolina; two daughters, Carolyn "Faye" Bullock (Dale) and Jessie Hargrove (Louis) both of Henderson, North Carolina; twenty grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren; one adopted granddaughter, Keisha Vaughn and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will be at Blacknall Cemetery on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

Remember to follow state and CDC guidelines, graveside service is limited to fifty (50) people and to practice social distancing of six feet along with face covering and good handwashing.
