Lizzie Daves aka (Squeeze) was born in Warren County, North Carolina in 1939 to the late Albert and Sallie White. She was one of fifteen children. She entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2021 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.

Lizzie was a graduate of Warren County Training School in 1957. Upon graduation she relocated to Connecticut. She attended the University of Bridgeport to study nursing. She worked in various fields of nursing as a RN Staff Nurse, RN Head Nurse and RN Supervisor. She retired in 2001.

Lizzie relocated to North Carolina in 1985. She became a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.

Lizzie was united in holy matrimony to the late James Daves and to this union was born five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, two sisters and two brothers.

Lizzie was a very private person. She loved to eat at Mayflower's Restaurant, watch her favorite westerns on television and occasionally ride to Virginia to get ice cream.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Debra, Lisa and Jeffrey; son-in-law Jeff; daughter-in-law's, April and Mercilyn; five brothers, Albert, Alexander, Clarence, Peter and Bobby; six sisters, Otelia, Cornelia, Lillian, Marinda, Zaida and Agatha; two sister-in-law's, Gloria and Nettie; three brother-in-law's, William, Richard and Donny; eight grandchildren, Jovanna, Letrell, Jaime, Javon, Maron, Shalilah, Brandon and Aliya; six great grandchildren, Jayden, Makenzi, Letrell Jr., Lailah, Avaiah and Anyla and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel from noon to 6:00 p.m.

Graveside service will be private.
