Raymond Milton Jiggetts was born July 31, 1943 in Henderson, NC to the late Mr. Robert Lee Jiggetts Sr. and Mrs. Julia Peace Jiggetts. He departed this life on August 3, 2022, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He attended Vance County Public Schools. He worked for JP Taylor and retired after 20 years.  He loved cars, big hats, and dressing up. Raymond loved his family dearly and was preceded in death by his beloved life partner of 49 years, Mamie V. Terry and his son, Derrick L. Terry; stepchildren, Geraldine, Conway, Sharon and Robert; granddaughter, Danielle and Shavonda; brothers, Edward, Rufus, and Robert Jr. Jiggetts; sisters, Corine Richardson and Beatrice Peoples.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his only daughter, Ingrid Terry (Jabron Fuller); four stepsons Walter and Raynah Yancey, Michael and Sterling Terry; five stepdaughters, Dorothy Terry, Samantha Smith, Annie Gannie, Catherine Holley and Olivia Hendricks; grandchildren, Jelijah and Jabria Fuller, Keoshia, Reniyja, Quashawn, Kanijah, and Jasmine. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Blacknall Cemetery, 151 North Beckford Drive, Henderson, NC on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
